Bedford Park
What Johannesburg Water (JW) reported for Bedford Park, from March 2025.
Bedford Park's water comes from the City of Ekurhuleni, which buys it from Rand Water, not from Johannesburg Water. In March 2023 JW listed parts of Bedford Park among the areas without water while the inlet of its Linksfield Reservoir was closed. This site covers Johannesburg Water's reports only. What JW's boards cannot tell you
- Whether water reaches your street or your tap.
- Which streets lose water first: JW warns of higher-lying areas but does not name the streets.
- Why a supply ran low, unless a JW notice gives a reason.
- Pipe bursts, tankers and valve work, which are not on the boards.
