Download the data
The whole record in one download: every Johannesburg Water (JW) board and notice we have read, and the day-by-day history built from them.
Each release is dated and never overwritten. It holds one CSV file and one JSONL file per table, and a manifest.json with each file's row count and sha256 checksum, so you can check you have every row. The tables load into an empty Postgres database as they are.
CC BY 4.0 for this compilation and its readings. The facts are what Johannesburg Water (JW) reported on its status boards and notices: credit Johannesburg Water as the source.

For one suburb or one reservoir at a time, the open API is quicker.
JW reported every status in these files about its reservoirs and towers, not about anyone's tap. A day with no JW board is a gap, never a normal day. How this record is made.
